In the field of diagnostics, the workplaces of VUIS - CESTY, spol. s r. o., equipped to perform the following tests:
 

  - static load test

  - test of dynamic bearing capacity of light

  - a dynamic board

  - determination of volumetric weight with a volume meter

  - tear-off tests of waterproofing systems on bridges

  - visual inspections of non-rigid (asphalt) roads

  - visual inspections of solid (cement-concrete) roads

The company closely cooperates with the Road Databank when diagnosing roadways.
 

It has a KUAB FWD deflectometer for measuring load capacity.

In year 2012, the laboratory equipment was expanded to include equipment for measuring fatigue (STN EN 12697-24) and stiffness (STN EN 12697-26) of asphalt mixtures using the four-point method.

In order to achieve and maintain expertise in the field of diagnostics and testing, it is necessary to systematically innovative workplace instrumentation and continualy educate laboratory workers.
 

Fully functional and regularly calibrated devices complying with applicable standards are a necessary condition for granting the accreditation of a testing laboratory, as well as qualified and experienced workers.

Laboratorium VUIS – CESTY, spol. s r. o., is equipped to carry out basic tests on the following materials:

 

  - asphalt and asphalt emulsions

  - natural and artificial aggregates

  - compacted asphalt mixtures, cast asphalts, slurry plugs

  - hydraulically cemented base mixtures

  - uncompacted base mixes

  - soils

In field of diagnostics, the laboratory is equipped to perform these tests:

 

   - static load test

   - lightweight dynamic load capacity test

   - dynamic plate test

   - determination of the bulk density with a volumetric mass gauge

   - tear-tests of waterproofing systems on bridges

   - visual inspections of unpaved (asphalt) pavements

   - visual inspections of rigid (cement-concrete) pavements
